My Proposed Transitioning Regimen

When hair is out (no extensions)

  • wash and condition once a week (Sundays)
  • co-wash 1-2 times a week (after working out)
  • deep condition every other week (every other Sunday)
  • apply leave-in everytime I wash/co-wash
  • apply hair food while hair is still wet
  • air dry otherwise cool dry with hair dryer (only in a massive hurry)

Until last week, I’d been co-washing my hair about 2x a week. It’s getting to be quite tedious cause I always have to twist or braid my hair afterward. And I’m still struggling to keep a twist out looking fresh past the first day. Hmmm…
