This Week’s Looks: The Accessories Challenge Continues

Me on Monday:

I’d washed and deep conditioned my hair on Saturday as I knew I’d be
busy on Sunday. I did my usual high puff on Sunday but styled it with my
blue headscarf. So by Monday, my hair was less dry and had gotten more
stretched.

Grey cardi – Cotton On. Black tank – hand me down. White jeans – Primark. Sandals – Mr. Price

Rocking another fabulous Cotton On find! All printed pattern fans and fellow Cotton On addicts, I grabbed myself this gorgeous bag from Cotton On in Sandton City for just R15! And the best thing? Proceeds go to Cotton On Foundation and helps families in Uganda. Affordable, cute and helps a good cause? LOVE it!

Tuesday:

Grey top – Amsterdam. White tank – Cotton On. Leggings – Mr. Price. Wedges – Cotton On

I’d been eyeing this printed bow headband from Mr. Price since I saw it being modeled on their website (not yet available for sale) about a month ago. I stalked all of the Mr. Prices around my area for weeks, hoping I hadn’t missed it. So when I finally found it the day before my birthday, I didn’t even think to leave without it. Bagged it!

On Wednesday:

Dress – ASOS. Sandals – The Slipway Souk in Tanzania

I bought this headband over a year ago when I first went natural and went home for a break. I got it in this colour as well as blue and by then, my hair was still too short to rock them. So off they went to the bottom of my accessories basket and I would get so sad whenever I saw them and I still hadn’t worn them. This headband along with its blue twin were the reasons why I said enough is enough, I have to wear my accessories! Hence the 30 Day challenge.

Thursday:

Colour block top – Cotton On. Blazer – Mr. Price. Leggings – Mr. Price. Flats – Mr. Price. Bag – Kenneth Cole

On Friday, I rocked Mr. Price from head to toe:

Headbands, earrings, off shoulder top and black maxi dress – all from Mr. Price

Fro and I had another great week with our accessories. I’m so glad to be doing this challenge as I’m now making proper use of my collection which I’ve fallen even more in love with. We’ve passed the halfway line!

Here’s to another week 🙂
