This Week’s Looks

After trying a new wash day routine last week Sunday, my hair throughout the week was quite moisturised. The first couple of days, my hair wasn’t feeling its usual dryness but by the end of the week it wasn’t as ‘squidgy’ as it usually is. It pretty much stayed at the same level throughout the week so it’s something to work on. This week I avoided puffs and tried to give my hairline even more of a break. I prepped my hair in 4-5 flat twists every evening.

Tuesday:

Wednesday:

On Wednesday eve, I kept the two flat twists in and twisted the left over hair for the evening. On Thursday I undid the left over hair and tied it into my first low ponytail 😀 Couldn’t take pics though but will definitely re-do this style. Loved both looks 😀

On Saturday:

Twas a good week 😀 I love discovering new styles, especially ones that don’t take forever to do and look cute 🙂

    Hi there,
    Love your blog,
I just wanted to ask how long you've been growing out your hair for and what product do you use when doing a twist out.

    Thanks,

Hiya, almost two years fully natural. I twist my hair without products otherwise they unravel. I apply product afterwards…my Daily Spritz and some Afro Botanics Hair Fertiliser

I use L'Oreal Infallible in various shades. I can't sing their praises enough, they're awesome and last the entire day 😉
