How to do: Twisted Updo

I’ve been rocking this style all week and have been showing it off on Instagram. It’s a fun, playful and remix-able updo I achieved with the help of Ruutos Hair products. Have fun with the style by rocking the front part differently for a few days; extra curly, to the side, to the front or a wavy pompadour.

Thanks Nannah. If you're brave enough, dust your ends by putting your hair into big twists and removing where the ends get thin. Otherwise go to a salon to avoid over cutting 😉

thats a really cute hairstyle. no matter how hard i try, my two strand twists are always fuzzy and lack definition. yours look so good!

Mine usually do too but I really liked how this came out. I think the product application counts a lot plus I did flat twists to get this definition, I found it worked better.

    HI Aisha,

    Thank you for the Pic-Torial.

Quite easy and simple to do, you are indeed a creative :-).

Where did you get your satin scarf? I have been looking for one mostly at Dischem and to date nothing.

Thank you and that style is a winner!! *wink wink

Hi N, (I wish you could leave your real name btw) I got mine ages ago in London but I know the big Clicks sell satin scarves and bonnets. Check out Rosebank if you're in Jozi 😉
