Kai’s Nursery Tour

I had such FOMO when I was planning Kai’s nursery and decor. I watched so many videos for inspiration and ideas and was hella disappointed when they mentioned stores that we didn’t have here in SA. I wanted him to have a cute, minimalistic, modern yet colourful room to grow with him. I also didn’t want to do the typical blue for boy thing either – you know me. So I really had to painstakingly find local versions of things I saw and loved on Pinterest, YouTube and mixed it with my own DIY (I’ve listened and DIY posts are coming!). His room really was a labour of love, because it’s quite a small space and we didn’t have a big budget either (babies are TOO expensive).
Have a watch for some inspiration, ideas on how to save and repurpose items for either a boy’s or girl’s room. I hope it helps you fellow new mamas or current mommies-to-be. If you’re not either, please share the video with a loved mommy. Let me know what you think in the comments and please remember to subscribe if you haven’t already 😉

Enjoyed this so much Aisha! Such a warm and lovely room.
Actually thought the triangles were a wall paper. Painting it on was really a labour of love, but it looks so lovely.
