Everyone talks about having a summer-ready body and this usually means working on its shape and tone. For me, it’s all about skin. In summer, our skin is especially on show, so I can’t be exposing ashy feet and rough-looking elbows right? My litmus test for a good lotion is if I put it on my feet in the morning and by the end of the day, my feet are still looking supple and moisturised. During winter, the air is so dry and cold that I turn to heavy butters to stay moisturised. My skin still needs some TLC to fend the dryness away in summer. So, just as I switch up the products I use for my hair and face to suit the season, I also use a lighter lotion and shower gel during the warmer months. I would love the Smoothing range with papaya extract. Papaya extract is well known for it’s ability to unclog pores and slough off dead skin cells for a brighter, more radiant complexion… sounds good to me, because these are all what am suffering from when I don’t use Johnsoh’s body wash! I would LIVE to try out the Vita -Rich brightening pomegranate range please, it would be perfect for the soon to come summer break by the coast. Not so many ch for the brightening but rather that it will hydrate my skin and protect it from harmful UV rays so that I can rest assured while relaxing on the beach.
It would be a wonderful accompaniment to the Johnson’s Hydration Essentials 2-in-1 Facial Gel Mask which I came across on your blog 2 years or so back and I am still religiously using it to moisturize my face. The Johnsons Vita Rich pomegranate BRIGHTENING lotion has definitely been on the top of my shopping list recently. I’ve noticed that i tend to get darker during summer, even though i’m not in the sun often.
The brightening lotion really helps to tone those darker areas of my skin, unlike most brightening products; i have seen substantial results from the Johnsons brightening range (i’ve seen results in my first month!!!!!).
I’d also just like to add that I’ve been using the Johnsons ‘even tone’ soap bar since the time i entered high-school!, i have very acne prone skin and this soap bar has been the only product that has “worked” for me, i’ve tried a number of high-end products but the Johnsons bar has been the only soap that has managed to control my skin.
