My First Masterclass: The Business of Blogging

I’m so excited to finally announce my first blogging masterclass: The Business of Blogging.

This is a love project I’ve been thinking about for a minute, putting together behind the scenes for a while and I’m so proud to now share it with you. As many of you know, I’ve been blogging for a few years now – eight to be exact. What started off as an accidental online diary of my natural hair story, grew into something bigger than me. It’s gone from hobby to passion and now into my full-time baby. In the eight years of doing this, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve tripped up, I’ve made many mistakes and I’ve almost given up. I’ve also grown, refined and evolved. What it all led to was this: two blogs that I’m insanely proud of. Two online bodies of work that have accomplished exactly what they set out to do: inspire women.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with and creating content for brands such as MTN, Woolworths, Shea Moisture, FNB, Takealot, Johnson’s, OMO and Dove. I’m thrilled to have been featured on CNN.com, SABC, Glamour and Elle magazines, and spoken at Clicks Curls, Colgate Total 12 Conference and L’Oréal Curl Affair. My most recent appointment as UNICEF Digital Influencer is one of my proudest titles. And now I’m honoured to be able to pass on my experience to help you: the aspiring or newbie blogger, writer, influencer, creative professional or creative entrepreneur in the making.

The entire reason why I decided to make my blog public, instead of keeping all of my new knowledge of natural hair to myself was to help other women. Sharing my experiences with you and hearing how they help you is incredibly fulfilling. And it’s why I still share myself with all of you. Whether it’s so you can see yourself in me, relate to my story and feel confident to embrace your natural hair, beauty, or honest journey of motherhood. There is comfort in knowing you’re not alone.

The Business of Blogging

Starting a blog, maintaining one and building an online audience is scary and can be tough. As with everything new, we all need someone who’s done it before to learn the ropes from. I’ve stumbled through it all, so you don’t have to. My dear A&L reader, if you’ve ever wanted to start a blog or social media page, or have done so already but not sure how to grow it, I’d love for you to join me in my workshop. There are so many things that bloggers and social media influencers don’t tell you – but I’m sharing it all. So expect insider tips and tricks, step by step plan, ready to use blogging tools – and exclusive access to me of course 😉 Come with all of your questions, queries and look forward to networking with others.

I’ve always been about empowering women – sharing my truth so you can embrace yours. When better to do this than in Women’s Month!

My A&L blog subscribers received a special secret discount last week. Now you can grab your tickets here: The Business of Blogging Tickets. Tickets include lunch, refreshments and blogging tools.

I’d love to see you there!

Hello Aisha and thank you for an inspiring blog. I want to know what your impression is regarding South African’s and online shopping. Are we into online shopping or is it a niche still to be discovered.

    Regards
